
District Public Relations Officer Dimapur also in-charge of Chumoukedima and Niuland districts, Lolano Patton graced the graduation program for short term music course 2022 as the guest of honour, at the Golden Crown Theological College (GCTC), Nagarjan, Dimapur on June 16.
Shas called upon the musicians for strengthening and empowering today’s youth spiritually through the power of music by applying innovative ideas and creativity. Asserting that youth of today has passion in the field of music, Patton reminded the music graduates about their bigger role in shaping, nurturing and moulding the youth spiritually through the power of music.
She encouraged the musicians to strive harder with commitment and determination and to believe in themselves so that they contribute towards the extension of church ministry and also for bringing about radical changes towards Christian music industry in the State. On the occasion, the special guest gave away awards of excellence and graduation certificates to the music graduates. A total of 18 students graduated in Church music.
Director, Golden Crown Theological College (GCTC), Rev Dr. Nzan Odyuo assured to train more musicians for the ministry of the church.
Highlights of the program included prelude and performances by assistant professor of music (vocal), Mhathung Odyuo and Benry Moses, piano instructor, Albert Kanken, special presentation by the music students and choir presentation.
Vice principal GCTC, Donwipou Pamai invoked God’s blessings while Rev Dr. Nzan Odyuo offered the benediction. The program was compered by music lecturer, Khristin Kimeri.
