Deputy commissioner (DC) Niuland, Sara S. Jamir held a consultative meeting with NHIDCL officials and various GBs and public leaders including Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) with regard to the preparation of DPR for 2 laning from Showuba connecting Guzunyu- Phughoboto- Zunheboto- Noklak to Pangsha, in the conference hall of the DC Niuland on Monday.
According to a DIPR report, DC stated that there would be no land compensation on 2-lane project except damage to developed properties within the parameters of the required land.
She urged upon the public leaders to cooperate with the administration and responsible companies for the development of the district. Various GBs and public leaders also expressed their opinions and agreed to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the responsible department before August 12, to pave way for the departmental survey at the earliest.
