Minister of PWD (Housing and Mechanical), Tongpang Ozukum with department officers, chief engineer (Housing) and NPF party leaders (central & Dimapur division) conducted a joint inspection for extension of PWD Rental Housing Phase-III Complex boundary in Dimapur, on Saturday.
In a press release, PS to the minister stated that NPF party leaders agreed to part with 10×162 feet towards NPF plot by knocking down existing boundary wall between the two plots.
It may be mentioned that the minister on November 7, 2021, wrote to NPF party president, Dr. Shourhozielie Liezeitsu requesting to donate a portion of the plot for parking space for tenants of PWD Rental Housing.
The second issue settled was boundary between the same PWD Rental Housing Complex and GPS Landmark colony.
In this regard, Tongpang Ozukum initiated a joint inspection with leaders of Landmark Colony and school management board (SMB) in the presence of the deputy commissioner (DC), Dimapur.
After discussion, it was agreed to settle the matter amicably providing sufficient space for entrance of PWD Rental Housing complex.
The minister also inspected the ongoing construction of demonstration housing project (DHP) at Sematilla, Dimapur.
