Minister, housing and mechanical (PWD), Tongpang Ozukum on November 5 inaugurated PWD rental housing Phase III & V at PWD Rental Housing Complex, Dimapur.
A press release by the press secretary to minister informed that in his inaugural speech, Ozukum officials of PWD (Housing) for their continuous monitoring and supervision of the work and the contractors for the successful completion of the project on time.
He also thanked the government of Nagaland under Chief minister Neiphiu Rio for allotting funds to come up with such developmental infrastructure not only in Dimapur but in other districts as well.
The minister also urged upon the tenants to take responsibility to maintain the governmental assets like their own as long as they occupy the housing.
He also asked the department officials to give serious efforts and dedication on a dual mission mode to protect the land from encroachers while at the same time to come up with innovative ideas for creation of infrastructures utilizing new technologies which will be cost effective as well as less time consuming.
The programme was chaired by SDO-II PWD(H), Er.Tsongtsa H Khiamniungan; dedicatory prayer by Mission Director, DABA, Imnatoshi Lkr; a technical report was presented by chief engineer, PWD(H), Er. I. Tiameren; short speech was delivered by Landmark Colony, chairman, S. Bendang Ao and vote of thanks was delivered by EE, PWD(H), Dimapur Division, Er. Nitoli Sema.
