A cleanliness drive and medical camp was organised by Shamatore battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (North) on December 9 at Noklak Town and Nokyan-B Village.
According to PRO Defence, after the cleanliness drive, medical team from Company Operating Base Noklak carried out medical check-up.
Earlier, the battalion also organised a medical camp for Shingnyu Village, Mon district on December 6. Chief Medical Officer of Shamator Battalion along with a team from Company Operating Base DAN (ITC Dan) carried out the camp.
