National Institute of Securities Market established under Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) organised a two-day workshop of eight comprehensive sessions on March 3 and 4 at Model Christian College, Kohima.
A total of 100 students attended the workshop. Chenio Lotha was the resource person and the workshop focused on awareness of personal finance framework, of employment opportunities in financial service industries, of self-employment opportunities, risks involved while investing in securities market, empowerment of students while facing interview in financial services industry, etc. All participants were given e- certificate, and students who received not less than 60% on their test conducted in the workshop will be receiving pass certificates. The college also received certificate of appreciation from the institute.
