Team Nagaland comprising of eight athletes won 14 medals at the 3rd BCAI National Arm-Wrestling Championships held on May 18 to 21 at the Ramee Guestline Hotel, Bangalore, Karnataka.
In a press release, Arm Wrestling Association of Nagaland (AWAN), has provided the names of the athletes’ who won medals in various categories at the championship.
Vethozo Lohe – 4 gold medals (youth left & right hands) and 78 Kg senior (left & right hands); Neli Dominic – 2 Gold medals (63 kg, senior) left and right hands; Avilie Zuyie – 1 gold medal (86 kg, youth) right hand, 1 silver medal (left hand); Zizi Mongzar – 2 silver medals (63kg, youth) left and right hands; Abhishek Pradhan – 1 gold medal (youth open weight category); Thangboilal Saum – 1 bronze medal (78 kg, junior) left hand; Kuvemuri Ringa – 1 bronze medal (70 kg, senior) left hand; and George Mero – 1 silver medal (63 kg, junior) left hand.
