Mopong Hongkong Students’ Union (MHSU) has expressed deep grief over the demise of Manwai Konyak, ex MLA, who passed away on July 8.
In a condolence message, MHSU said late Manwai was elected as representative to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 48th Moka in the year 1977 to 1982, and served the people of Moka towards progress and development up to his fullest capabilities.
MHSU said late Manwai was a down to the earth humble political leader who inspired the vision of change and development of the constituency.
Expressing sadness over his demise, MHSU has also extended condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
