Dimapur police has informed that an unidentified body of a non-Naga aged around 20 years was found outside Nandan Hotel, Station Road, Dimapur, wearing a blue jean pant, on June 8.
In a press release, Dimapur police PRO said the deceased was found in a sleeping position facing upwards and both the legs folded. After recovering the body, PRO said inquest was conducted over the dead body and no foul play could be established presently. It said the cause of dead was highly suspected to be due to starvation and dehydration.
On completion of all legal formalities, PRO said the dead body has been shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
