Kohima College Kohima and Norman Putsure College (NPC) observed freshers’ day on August 19 at their respective college campuses.
At KCK, the event was graced by directorate of Higher Education, director Dr. A. Nshoga as special guest. The programme commenced with an invocation and welcome note by Dr. Petevinuo Chase, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Environmental Science and Dr Vitsosie Vupru, principal, Kohima College, respectively. It was followed by the induction of the new Students’ Council team headed by general secretary, Nuvekho Rhakho, 5th semester Political Science honours student. The outgoing General Secretary, Hyulo Tsela presented the annual report of KCSC 2022-2023 activities.
NPC: Norman Putsure College (NPC) celebrated its second Freshers’ Fiesta with director o of Youth Resources and Sports, Situo Sekhose as the chief guest. NPC principal Dr. K. Timothy Langwangbe, talked on the concept of ‘human capital’.
