The Ao Students Conference (AKM) organized a “Candle Light Service” in memory of social & cultural secretary AKM, late Imnayachet Molier, on Monday evening here at the AKM office, Mokokchung.
The service was attended by representatives of Ao Senden, Watsu Mungdang, students and well-wishers. The president of AKM Lanutoshi Aier in his presidential address, remembered his deceased colleague as a sincere and dedicated person who never gave up on the works assigned to him. He added that his passing away was a great loss not just for the Aos but also for the Nagas as a whole stating that his passing away has left a vacuum which would be hard to fill.
The president further called upon all as the remaining team of AKM officials to carry out and perform their duties to remember them in their prayers. Meanwhile, associate pastor, Salangtem Fellowship MTBA, Rev. Temsuwati spoke from the word of God.
The programme was chaired by vice-president AKM, Onenpong while president of Watsu Mungdang, S. Arenla Lkr offered the invocation prayer and the programme concluded with a mass prayer.
