Khulazu Basa Students’ Union (KBSU) conducted its third literary-cum-cultural event on October 13 and 14 at Government High School, Khulazu Basa village under the theme “promote and enrich culture”.
All four schools in the village – Government Primary School (GPS) – A, GPS-B, Govt High School, and Zanubu Mission School participated in various competitions such as solo, duet, choral, quiz, poem, drawing, prepared speech and spelling bee.
Speaking on the occasion, Vetazo Tetseo, VEC, stressed on the importance of discipline, respect and obedience and encouraged the students to take the teachings of the elders into practice.
Teacher-in-charge of the GHS Medothi Rhakho emphasised on the importance of education. Education secretary of Kohima Chakhesang Students’ Union (KCSU), Verakho Rhakho also spoke at the event.
