United States Consul General, Melinda Pavek, who is on an official visit to Nagaland, visited the “Bloom Bazaar”, an initiative of the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), on October 28 at the Heritage.
A press release by IDAN stated that during her tour of the “Bloom Bazaar”, Pavek interacted with the flower growers, local artisans and entrepreneurs, who showcased a wide array of traditional and contemporary Naga crafts and products.
In her remarks, Pavek expressed her admiration for the resilience and creativity of the people of Nagaland.
IDAN said Pavek, known for her commitment to fostering international relations and embracing local culture, was warmly received at the “Bloom Bazaar”.
IDAN said the “Bloom Bazaar” served as a perfect backdrop to experience the rich tapestry of Naga culture, from varieties of flowers, organic valued added products, handwoven textiles and intricate jewelry to the diverse culinary delights that the State has to offer.
