Phüsachodümi Union Kohima (PUK) celebrated its 37th session under the theme, “Looking Beyond” at the State Academy Hall, Kohima on November 11 with advisor, Civil Administrative Works Department and Taxes, Küdecho Khamo as guest speaker.
A press release by PUK stated that in his address, Khamo asked the young people to prepare themselves to compete in the competitive world. He said they should not blame society if they cannot compete with others. Khamo also advised them to be professionals in whatever field they choose to do.
Khamo also advised the gathering to always remember to let God take the lead in their life and urged them to be honest and work hard. He further called upon the gathering to work for the upliftment of the society. The advisor also sought the blessings of the elders and the people to work for the betterment of society.
At the programme, PUK president, Vemücho Chüzho and joint secretary, Vefüyi Vero presented reports and remarks; Thüpurüle Theluo and friends sang a folk tune and the 75th Parents Choir presented a special presentation.
