The Kohima Municipal Council ( ) has informed all Wards/Sectors/Colonies regarding the “Best Ward” award under KMC, concerning festive decoration, it informed that more marks will be allocated to participants incorporating the principles of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” in their decorations.Meanwhile, the KMC has reiterated the ban on Single Use Plastic, in accordance with government order. The sale of polystyrene (thermocol) decorations remains are prohibited. All residents have been urged to cooperate and contribute to a cleaner and healthier Kohima.
