Tikhir Students Union (TSU) held its 43rd general conference at Pokphur village from January 11 to 14. Valedictory guest, Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhütso, MLA in his address encouraged the students community to not only depend on government job but to work hard and be employable in any private sector. He also urged the educated Tikhir students to come back to their own village and help their people and also find ways and means to sell or export local products.
He assured to extend a support if he could be of any help in Kohima. He called on the community to approach him without any hesitation when in Kohima. During the four day event other activities including sports and games, cultural presentation and devotional service.
