In a remarkable showcase, the senior Pencak Silat Team representing Nagaland University emerged victorious by winning 1 Gold, 1 Silver (Team) and 3 Bronze medals at the All India Inter-University Games held at Guru Nanak University, Amritsar, Punjab from January 25 to 27. The Gold medal in Tanding event was bagged by Kitenlo K. Thono and Silver medal by Liike Kibami, Avikali V. Sheqi and Hatneinem Khongsai in Team Regu event while Bronze medal by Kevin and Edwina Lhinghoithem Hangal in Tanding and Tunggal event.
