The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has appealed UN secretary general Antònio Guterres for immediate intervention against further fragmentation of Naga homeland by “occupational forces”.
In a representation to the UN secretary general Antònio Guterres, NSF president Medovi Rhi and general secretary Chumben Khuvung sought UN’s urgent attention on the serious threats propounded by the “Indian occupational force” to fence the Indo-Myanmar border and abolish the Free Movement Regime (FMR).
NSF alleged that the ploy manifested a clear evidence of the Government of India’s insincerity and insensitivity towards the inherent Naga birthright and the hope of the Naga people to once again live as free people.
