Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) organised a prayer fellowship and relief programme for the Meities pastors and evangelists at Tangkhul Baptist Church, Imphal on March 5. CFD team was led by chairman Rev. Moses Murry, vice chairman Rev. Vitoshe Swu and member Rev. Vangphong Phom.
A press release from General Superintendent, The Assemblies of God of East India, Rev. Moses Murry informed that the team also visited refugee camps at Namlee and Wanglee village in the Myanmar border where many Christians were displaced because of the ethnic clash.
They were provided food items on March 6.
The team members also exhorted the pastors and evangelists and the villagers who were in the refugee camps to be strong in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Further, the team members prayed for the peace and comfort of God upon their families.
