NSCN (I-M), through its MIP has urged upon all Churches to pray for the “Indo-Naga political talks and peace in Nagalim”.

The group emphasized the significance of the Framework Agreement, where the government of India acknowledged the Naga people’s independent nature and recognized their unique history. According to NSCN (I-M), sovereignty lies with the Naga people, encompassing key elements like land, government, constitution, and flag. It said despite commitments made, the government of India was attempting to backtrack and disown the Framework Agreement.

NSCN (I-M) also alleged that the government of India was creating obstacles through surrogate Naga factions and neighboring hostile groups. However, NSCN (I-M) reaffirmed its commitment to the historic Framework Agreement signed on August 3, 2015, asserting the resolve of the Naga people under the banner of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim.
