A one-day co-creation workshop for “adapting Human-Centered Design (HCD) on strengthening Routine Immunization (RI)” was organised by the MOMENTUM Routine Immunization Transformation and Equity Project funded by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in partnership with Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoH&FW) Nagaland at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, Thursday. A press release by DoH&FW stated that during the programme, design and strategy consultant, M-RITE, Olivia Nava, stressed the significance of HCD work for strengthening the demand for RI and gave a brief overview of M-RITE’s experience in the field.
Welcoming the state officials and the teams from Tinkerlabs and M-Rite, the state project manager, John Snow India (JSI), Egumsing, briefly introduced the participants. The welcome address and welcome note were delivered by Anumegha Bhatnagar and State Immunization Officer (SIO) Nagaland, Dr. Imkongtemsu, respectively. The programme was attended by medical officials of the district of Kohima and officials from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Kohima.
