Stand up for Nagaland

Indigenous Nagaland populace mostly belonged to marginal agrarian society for self sustenance solely for domestic purposes unlike other commercial agrarian states due to landscape and feasibility.
Therefore, most businessmen, bureaucrats, contractors etc. are mostly first generation and hence, chances are dim for Nagas to be super rich as they are now, except for those massively inherited and self made crorepattis from extensive landholdings or Zamindars.
Without disregard for hardworking people and business owners who made a name for themselves from rags.
Therefore, honestly most Ministers and MLAs in the past and in the present Nagaland Legislative Assembly served in the officer category under the Government of Nagaland, and as per the dynamics of electoral politics of Nagaland where money decides the fate, no honest officers could ever win.
So technically, most successful officers were successful too in Nagaland electoral politics.
However, ironically, once elected, these people who amazed wealth out of Nagaland’s resource and ready to loot more as legislator, start speaking different tongues.
Every Ministers and MLAs in the NLA speak only about Naga/Nagalim and ‘Utopian Solution’ without a concern for the people of Nagaland. Do their counterparts in other states speak the same tone or they speak for the welfare of their people and state? Due to untenable adoption of ‘Vision’ by the NLA, our Nagaland state is lacking far behind in terms of infrastructure and far ahead in corruption. In search for bigger reach, existing indigenous people are vanishing in infrastructural development and economic upliftment.
In Nagaland’s government effort and spearheading for greater Nagalim we see wide wealth and economic disparity between indigenous tribals and non-indigenous even inside Nagaland.
Nagaland as an Indian state is extracted and squeezed by both legal government and self proclaimed parallel governments.
It is evident that nobody can undermine or question the Naga Nationalism however, gone are the days when freedom fighters trekked rocky terrains and marshy jungles to spread and uphold the true nationalist feelings among the Nagas but unfortunately took drastic leap towards luxuries in present days. Most so called freedom fighters narrowed down from sovereign nation to quenching their lust for materialist sovereignty. Disheartening yet a reality.
For the lack of development and deterrence from internal entities for industrial setups, tens and thousands of youths from Nagaland go astray in other states in quest for better life to meet their ends.
Most of whom return home in mournful casket and the rest lead a torturous and indulge in anti- social elements.
The recent arrest of 45 youths from Nagaland in Punjab is one sorrow example. Many of those who stayed back at home leads to depression pushing them towards taking steps detrimental to society.
It is often said that most youths are lazy and yes laziness begats idleness but to prove ones enthusiasm and smartness one needs wider opportunities as well. Therefore, Government of Nagaland should mend route to establish MNCs, bring industrial revolution to provide opportunities to Nagaland youths.
Why wait for permission from other entities when you have the power unless the government is detrimental towards it’s subjects.? It is high time for the government of Nagaland to streamline and focus towards the basic needs of the people and state than it’s greater outreach.
Let the Naga nationalist have it’s way for greater Nagalim and prevent them to mettle in our state’s affairs.
Nagaland government should start to talk and work for the progress of Nagaland to bring our state’s infrastructure at par with the rest, for our people to prosper. MPs in Delhi should voice for Nagaland first and MLAs should execute for Nagaland first.
In quest for hundreds tribes, the indigenous Nagaland and it’s resources must not crumble. Let the vision for Greater Nagalim be in good route and the government of Nagaland talk and work for welfare of Nagaland first.
    GOD BLESS MY NAGALAND!
