Bailey Baptist College, Wokha celebrated its 28th foundation day on July 15. Speaking at the programme, acting principal, T. Penthungo Lotha emphasized the importance of stakeholder participation in stimulating desired changes and development within the institution. He also highlighted the significant achievements and rich history of Bailey Baptist College, encouraging collective effort for continuous improvement through the college administration, the Governing Body and the proactive roles of the Wokha Town Baptist Church.
Dr. Apeni Lotha, president of the Governing Body, also addressed the gathering, where she commended the students for their outstanding academic performance. She praised the proactive roles played by both staff and students in driving the college’s progress and urged the students to continue their hard work and dedication.
On the occasion, the graduates, were honored with mementos and certificates for their accomplishments. The programme was chaired by Leonard Mozhui, Head of the English Department and special numbers were presented by Wondangbeni Kikon, a 5th-semester student, and N Yanpothung Ezung, Head of the Sociology Department. This was stated in a press release issued by administrator of Bailey Baptist College.
