Renowned Naga footballer Roko Angami, who is also the vice president, Nagaland Masters Games, has been nominated to represent the state at the Super Master Game & Sports Federation (SMGSF) meeting.


The Advisory Board meeting will be held at Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi on August 3, 2024 at 11.00 a.m. The meeting will be attended by board director/CEO-Vinod Kumar and BC Jaswal, chairman-Dr Navneet Parmar, vice chairmen- Olympian Sanjeeva Singh, Jagdeep Singh Madhok, Vikrant Mehalwal, Prashanth RS and Jagajeevan Reddy.


Agendas for the meeting includes, review of 6th National Games held in the month of February, 2024 at Goa, to discuss about the participation of World Masters Games-2025. To finalize the dates, Games and venues of 7th National Masters Games. Discussion for the improvements of Federation and all affiliated MGAs throughout India. To discuss upon and preparation of yearly calendar of events in States. Among others. Team Nagaland emerged as the winner of the 40+ men’s football at the 6th National Masters Games Goa played at Don Bosco Engineering College Goa.
