NSDMA, Home Department consisting of Geologist, Engineers and field staff conducted Geophysical Survey and Aerial Survey of Alahuto Landslide/Land sinking area, Zunheboto Town on July 30-31, 2024.
According to assistant manager NSDMA, Keren Rose, the investigation was carried out using Resistivity Meter to collect data of the subsurface strata/soil & rock formations and ground water table of the said area. Drone aerial survey was also conducted to get the detailed information of structures and public utilities affected by the landslide. The investigation was carried out with support from members of Ward Disaster Management Authority, Alahuto Colony, Zunheboto Town.
