Tsütuonuomia Khel Council (TKC) Kohima village has shock and concern over the “suspicious and unnatural death” of a nine-year-old girl at Vürie under Tsütuonuomia jurisdiction on August 28, 2024 evening.
In a press release, TKC chairman K Neibou Sekhose and general secretary Thepfuzakie Suohu urged the law enforcing and investigation agencies to leave no stone unturned to trace the perpetrator/s “taking into consideration the nature of death as there may have been a crime involved”.
TKC demanded that highest degree of punishment be awarded to the culprit as per prevailing law of the land without any leniency.
TKC also strongly objected to any criminal act and crime committed within its jurisdiction. It warned that the perpetrator would be face “severest consequences” once they were caught.
Meanwhile, TKC has expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty grant them solace at this difficult moment.
