A special registration drive for labourers under Longkhim-Chare Sub-division, Tuensang was carried out by Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (NBOCWWB) on September 4, at Town Hall, Longkhim.
The registration drive was graced by advisor of IT and Communication, Economics and Statistics and Evolution, Sethrongkyu Sangtam.
According to a DIPR report, Sethrongkyu while addressing the public gathering said that the state and central governments were providing various projects, schemes and policies under various departments for the benefit of public.
Sethrongkyu therefore encouraged the public to avail to the schemes and opportunities provided by the governments and assured that that the government departments was always ready to assist the interested person to avail the opportunities.
A brief note on Labour Card and its benefits was highlighted by District Regional Officer, NBOCW-MB Mokokchung. Nungsangtoshi. Vote of thanks was pronounced by Labour Inspector, ALC office, Tuensang, Yongricham R. The program was chaired by LDA, ADC Office, Sepicham Sangtam.
