As part of the nationwide “Swachhata Hi Seva 2024” campaign, students of Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE), Dimapur, carried out anti-plastic pollution drive on September 21.
The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff, who collectively tackled plastic waste in key areas surrounding the college campus.
Participants also engaged in “plogging,” a combination of jogging and litter collection, promoting both environmental action and physical fitness. Principal Fr. Dr. Paul Punii SDB praised the initiative, and said encouraged the students to instill the values of responsibility, teamwork, and discipline for a sustainable future.
