Open letter to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland
Respected Sir,
In continuance to the earlier representation submitted to your good office on 22nd July, 2024, the Concerned Aspirants Group of Nagaland would like to apprise you once again on the matter of age relaxation for entry into Government Service. That sir, our intention is very clear, we are seeking age relaxation up to 37 years for various states competitive examination as the earlier notification No.AR-5/ASSO/98 (Vol-I) Dt. 28-02-2022 has benefitted only a certain age group barring other age group affected by Covid-19. Therefore, the affected group have been marginalized to 13 attempts instead of the normal 15 attempts. To specify, the affected age group falls under this category .i.e. those who were eligible to appear exam prior to COVID-19 (2021).
The Concerned Aspirants Groups consisting of thousands of affected aspirants who are seeking for equal and fair chance in matter of public employment are deprived of their rights which is enshrined in Article 16 of Indian Constitution.
Taking cognizance of the genuine issue pertaining to Students community, various Students bodies have endorsed our demand such as Combined Technical Association of Nagaland, Dimapur Naga Students Union, Central Nagaland Students Association, Lotha Students Union and All Sumi Students Union and the very issue has been highlighted by various broadcasting News Channels.
An online signature campaign is being carried out by the group, which saw the participation of more than thousand aspirants.
Therefore, we anticipate your good office to examine our case meticulously and provide an equitable opportunity to thousand job seekers at the earliest as the notification for NPSC CSE 2024 is already out and NSSB is in the offing.
