Nagaland: Naga restaurant in Delhi wins award at FCIC India

A Naga restaurant in Safdarjung, Delhi, “Yong’s Kitchen” owned by two sisters from Nagaland, Tiarenla and Yongsenla Longkumer has recently won the “Young Restaurateur of The Year Female 2024” award at the prestigious FCIC India Awards 2024, a platform that featured over 2,400 competitors from across India.


Launched just this year, Yong’s Kitchen has already made a significant mark by serving authentic Naga cuisine in Delhi, becoming popular for its commitment to preserving and showcasing the unique flavors of Nagaland.

The award recognizes their hard work and dedication, and it stands as a proud moment for the Northeast, as Yong’s Kitchen has effectively contributed to changing the landscape of Naga food and Northeast cuisine in general.
