Nagaland’s Christina wins bronze at 2nd Asmita Taekwondo Women’s League

Christina Singha from the Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) won the bronze medal in the under 42kg category at the phase 3, 2nd Asmita Taekwondo Women’s League held at Khelo India Stadium, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh from October 3 to 6.

The Nagaland team with nine female players was led by T Alem Aier as team coach, Santsuthung Ngullie as team coach and Dzuvichunuo Rutsa as team manager and Shanbeni R Lotha as team manager.

For technical officials, it was represented by Moon Thapa, internation referee and Limatula Jamir, national referee. Moon Thapa was selected to lead the technical officials as the competition technical director.

The female players have expressed gratitude to the president Nagaland Taekwondo Association and the director Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland for giving the opportunity and exposure to participate in such a championship.
