The new office of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) located at Tsumang colony, Wokha was inaugurated by Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, MLA on October 8.
Addressing the gathering, Humtsoe encouraged the party workers to remain dedicated and resilient, assuring them that better days are ahead for the party.
He spoke about the NCP’s central leadership, praising Ajit Pawar’s efforts and expressing hope for the party’s future growth. Acknowledging the challenges faced by NCP, Humtsoe reiterated his belief that the party would see improvement, especially given Wokha’s historic role as a strong political base for various parties, including Congress, BJP, TMC, JDU, and LJP.
Advisor to NCP Nagaland S.E. Kikon, also spoke at the event, expressing gratitude to Humtsoe for his efforts in establishing the office. Councillor Myingthungo Kikon extended greetings and conveyed his hope for continued success for the NCP in the future.
The programme was chaired by general secretary, NCP, Wokha district Andrew T. Tsanglao and welcome address by vice president, NCP, Wokha district Thunglamo Lotha and dedicatory prayer by deacon Yanbemo Kithan, Special song was presented by Lirhoni Z Lotha and vote of thanks by NCP Mahila president Lyingbeni Humtsoe.
