College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (CoVSc & AH), Jalukie, Peren, organized five-day training programme on “Frontline Practical Demonstration on poultry Farming” from November 19 to 23.
A press release by CoVSAH informed that the training programme was designed to provide improved knowledge and skills among poultry farmers on scientific poultry farming practices in the region, with adoption of improved poultry breeds and specific manage-mental techniques to enhanced productivity and profitability for participating farmers, thereby strengthening poultry farming community and upscaling of backyard poultry farming.
The programme was jointly organized by CoVSc&AH, Jalukie and ICAR-Central Avian Research Institute, Barielly (UP), under the project “Evaluation of CARI improved Germplasm in NEH region and its popularization under the aegis of ICAR-NEH scheme”.
