Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has convened a meeting of all stakeholders, inclusive of Dimapur-based tribal hohos, Young Nagas Action Committee for Foothills Road, representative of Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union (NCSU), Nagaland Government Registered Class-1 Contractors, all divisional executive engineers of NPW (R&B) and selected contractor firms for the first phase two-lane Foothills Road construction at NFHRCC base office, Kher Mahal here on December 12 at 10 am.

Appreciating the unflinching support from the 12 tribal hohos, the Young Nagas Action Committee for Foothills Road for the success of this noble venture in order to provide a dignified connectivity from Tizit to Khelma and the state government for mobilising the requisite funds for this iconic road project, the committee also solicited their commitment till the project was completed.

Urging all stakeholders already invited to be present at the meeting, the committee warned that if anyone failed to turn up at this crucial juncture, it would not take the matter lightly. This was stated in a press release by NFHRCC convener Supu Jamir, general secretary W Lemba Chang, co-convener Hokiye Yepthomi, and assistant general secretary Chenithung Humtsoe.
