Power department has informed that there would be power shutdown in parts of Wokha district and Tseminyu district on December 11-18, 2024 from 8am to 4pm.
In a circular, electrical division Wokha executive engineer Chenosing Kemp informed that the shutdown was being necessitated to facilitate shifting/Relocation of 132 kv tower along NH-2 at Longsa village, Wokha.
The department informed that Tseminyu District, Longsa village, Niropen colony, Niro range villages, Pongidong, Tsungza, Khumtsu, Meriyan, L.Yanthung and Totsu village would be affected from December 11-13 while Airtel Tower at Niropen Colony would be affected from December 14-18.
The department has therefore requested all consumers and public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
