The 9th edition of the Open Volleyball Tournament, hosted by the Enhulumi (Yoseba/Pfutsemi) {EYP} Union Pfutsero Town, was held at GMS, Enhulumi, on December 30 and 31, 2024.
The event was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Kiphire, Dr. Kolhitso Khalo, as the special guest. This year’s tournament featured 21 teams, including 11 men’s teams and 10 women’s teams, showcasing its growing popularity and inclusivity.
The event, hosted by the EYP Union Pfutsero Town, highlighted vibrant sportsmanship and community spirit. Enhulumi (Yoseba/Pfutsemi) Youth Society emerged victorious in the women’s championship, defeating EYP Union Pfutsero in the final. In the men’s championship, Youth Amigos retained their title, defeating Lekhroro in a thrilling final match.
Organized annually by the Called Group of Enhulumi Baptist Church, the tournament reflected their dedication to serving the Lord, the church, and the community.
Initially launched to foster fellowship and address social concerns such as alcohol addiction and disruptive behaviours, it has grown into a significant platform for unity and engagement, welcoming participation from the netizens of Enhulumi across borders.
