Imtirenba and Rokosier Savino from Medziphema Town emerged as the champions of the 1st Winter Open Amateur Badminton men’s double tournament by defeating Ekhato and Anahito of Dimapur in the final on Tuesday at the Indoor Stadium, Medziphema.
The tournament was organised by Women’s Shuttle Stars Club Medziphema on February 3 and 4. The winner received Rs. 15,000/- as cash price while the runner-up received Rs. 10,000/-.
The organisers expressed its gratitude to all the individuals, media and different organisations for making this tournament a huge success.
