Representatives of various Naga tribes have emphasised that Naga political groups (NPGs) must listen to the voice of the people and undertake all efforts without exception to ensure Naga unity in the spirit of oneness.
This was resolved at a meeting of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) with representatives of various Naga tribes who came together in solidarity to express in one accord the urgent necessity for all NPGs to come together in unity and cooperation on Tuesday.
Further, recognising and appreciating the constructive steps taken through the January 14, 2025 Treatise, the meeting decided that treatise must be implemented with immediate effect to make Naga unity and reconciliation a reality.
The meeting urged all the NPGs and Naga people to be part of the Council of Naga Cooperation and Relationship, cautioning that the Naga public would hold to account any NPG and civil society organisation responsible for its failure.
The representatives of various Naga tribes and FNR also resolved to consciously harness and consolidate Naga solidarity by fostering kindred spirit without borders towards the fulfillment of Naga aspirations.
