Assam Rifles renovate Govt School; hold medical camp

As part of its civic action programme, Assam Rifles renovated and dedicated a Government School at Totok Chingkho village of Mon district, on March 3, 2025.


According to AR source, locals of the village lauded the commitment of Assam Rifles in renovating the school. They stated that the changes have not only uplifted the school but ensured safer and more comfortable space and environment for the children to pursue their education.


Meanwhile, Assam Rifles organized a medical camp in the remote village of Matikhru of Meluri district, providing essential healthcare services to the villagers on March 3, 2025. A total of 48 patients were treated including 14 males, 27 females and seven children.

The medical camp was aimed at delivering primary medical assistance, including health check-ups, distribution of medicines, and awareness on hygiene and disease prevention. A dedicated team of health experts from Assam Rifles attended to numerous patients, addressing their ailments and offering guidance on maintaining good health.

Special emphasis was placed on maternal and child healthcare, elderly care, and preventive medicine.
