The Annual Sports and Games of Baptist Mission School (BMS) Jotsoma began on March 5 Mhasilhusie Nagi, a multiple time wrestling champion and an Engineer in NPWD gracing the occasion as the special guest.
Speaking on the inaugural function, he exhorted the students to face all the challenges with determination.
He pointed out that sport is an integral part of education adding physical exercise helps the students to be physically, mentally, intellectually and morally strong. He explained, how challenging it was for him to excel in his studies as well as in wrestling practice to go together.
Nagi also motivated the students to be well disciplined to excel in sports and games.
Headmaster of the school V J Thomas along with School Board chairman, GBs and other dignitaries welcomed Mhasilhusie Nagi to the venue. The students’ march past and other programs made the occasion colourful.
