The 4th edition of the Nagaland Futsal Club Championship (NFCC), organized by the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), officially kicked off on March 20, at the Futsal Centre, Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence, Sovima, Chümoukedima.
The ceremony was graced by NFA joint secretary and NFCC tournament secretary, L. Shahoto Yimchunger. The chief guest for the event was advisor for tribal affairs and election, H. Tovihoto Ayemi.
The NFCC 2025 aims to provide a platform for elite futsal teams from various districts across the state to battle it out for the prestigious title of state champions. The winning team will earn the opportunity to represent Nagaland at the AIFF Futsal Club Championship.
This year’s edition promises to be a landmark event in Nagaland’s futsal history, showcasing the state’s finest talent and further solidifying Nagaland’s presence on the national futsal stage. The tournament not only highlights the growing popularity of futsal in the region but also serves as an important step towards the development of the sport within the state.

The tournament, which is currently underway, will feature a diverse lineup of talented teams from various districts of the state. The participating teams include, Nyenshen FC (Tuensang), Vanguard FC (Tseminyu), Chümoukedima Sporting Club (Chümoukedima), Proper V FC (Dimapur), Aphuyemi FC (Zunheboto), Zasivi FC (Kohima) and Lengreng FC (Peren).
