The Dehradun Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union and the Naga Students’ Union Dehradun jointly hosted the 6th Naga Sports meet from March 20 – 22, at Tula’s Institute, Dehradun.
After an intense competition for points across various disciplines including discipline and etiquettes, Team Falcon (Madhuban + Selaqui colonies) emerged as the overall champion; once again taking home the grand trophy.
The event saw Naga students from all over Dehradun grouped into four teams (Mithun, Tragopan, Hornbill and Falcon) competing in various games and sports like athletics, Naga wrestling, Shotput, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, etc. The three-days event began with an inspiring speech on courage, unity and opportunities from special guest, Major Pannyim Konyak of the 14th Dogra Regiment.
