The 8th annual sports meet of St. Joseph University came to a thrilling conclusion on March 29, with a grand closing ceremony held at the university grounds. The event, which spanned several days of competition, athleticism, and camaraderie, brought together students, faculty, and staff in a remarkable celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Athletes showcased their talents across a wide range of events, including track and field, football, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, basketball, throwball, chess, carom, archery, arm wrestling, badminton, tug-of-war, and many more. After intense and exciting competition, Pathaan Group emerged as the overall champion of the meet.
In recognition of their outstanding achievements, winners were presented with certificates and prizes during the closing ceremony, honoring their dedication and skill in their respective events.
The success of this year’s sports meet was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the university’s teachers, staff, and students.
