Zeliang People’s Organisation Dimapur (ZPOD) has urged the government to uphold transparency and inclusiveness in decision-making regarding the NFHRCC project, emphasizing its significance for the Naga people.
In a press release, ZPOD general secretary, Junang Chawang expressed concern on the exclusion of NFHRCC committee members in recent governmental deliberations.
The organization stressed the importance of ensuring that all stakeholders are involved, advocating for a deliberative approach that prioritizes the interests of the public.
ZPOD therefore urged the government to recognize the NFHRCC committee’s role in discussions and decision-making processes, cautioning that excluding key representatives may lead to miscommunication and inefficiencies in project implementation.
