The School Ministry of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) organized a felicitation program to honor the HSLC and HSSLC 2025 toppers from NBCC-affiliated schools on May 2, 2025 at Platinum Hall, NBCC Office, Kohima.
Several students secured top ranks in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations. The topper from HSLC were: 5th rank: Watitula Imchen (CHSS Dimapur), 6th rank: Ichung Teilia & Kevikuonuo Zuyie (Baptist High Kohima), 7th rank: Wapangnaro Longkumer (BHSS Mangkolemba), 8th rank: Mechali Longkumer & Piyush Gupta (CHSS Dimapur), 10th rank: Veveh Nienü (Baptist High Kohima), 12th rank: Vilabeinuo Yaotsu (Bethel HSS Kohima), Longcharenla Longchar (BHSS Mangkolemba), Tsungrochung Walling (CHSS Dimapur), 14th & 15th rank: Vileto Yhoshü & Leni A Imsong (Ministers Hill BHSS Kohima), 16th rank: Siedzelenuo Sachü (Baptist High Kohima), Rudradeep Battacharjee (CHSS Dimapur), 17th rank: Suponglemla Longkumer (CSHSS Changtongya) and 18th rank: Sahil Hussain (CHSS Dimapur).
In HSSLC, the toppers were: 5th rank (Arts stream): Benri Odyuo (CHSS Dimapur), 9th rank (Commerce stream): Sneha Saha (CHSS Dimapur) and 10th rank (Commerce stream): Monowara Begum (CHSS Dimapur).
During the event, Benri Odyuo (Class XII, CHSS Dimapur) and Ichung Teilia (Class X, Baptist High Kohima) addressed the audience, reflecting on their academic journeys. A special song presentation by Senti and Hopong.
With over 100 affiliated schools, the NBCC School Ministry congratulated the toppers and acknowledged the dedication of school heads, teachers, and parents in shaping students’ success.
The program was chaired by NBCC Students Coordinator, Echu Konyak, and featured a welcome note from NBCC School Coordinator, Imlongchaba. NBCC finance secretary, Rev. Noksa Chiu, delivered the invocation and benediction, while NBCC general secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, concluded the event with a prayer and remarks for the students.
