The joint council of NSCN/GPRN organised a civic reception at Chq, Hebron to welcome 83 Homecomer from various camps on May 2. 2025.
According to MIP of NSCN/GPRN, the homecomers included ‘kilonsers, dy. Kilonsers, tatars, leacy, razou peyu and khapur”. The army wing was led by a colonel alongside two lt. colonel, four major, one captain, two 2nd lieutenant, three sgt. major, seven sergeant and one corporal.
Meanwhile, the joint Council has strongly condemned the killing of its three cadres on April 29, 2025 between New Kubin and Herakilua village NC Hills by the Indian security forces and the Assam police.
MIP questioned the credibility of the Indian government on its commitment on signing of the ceasefire agreement as two entities which was without territorial limits and applies where ever Nagas are. MIP further held Indian security forces responsible for the killing of 201 Naga Army cadres on different pretext during the period of ceasefire.
