Deputy Commissioner Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, has informed that vehicular movement along a stretch of Kohima-Jessami Road will be restricted from7 am to 7 pm for a period of twenty days, effective May 4 to May 23, 2025.
DC informed that the restriction has been imposed due to ongoing excavation of hill slopes between Losatephe and Lanezho villages. During this period, commuters have been advised to take an alternate route via Pfûtsero-Sakraba-Upper Khomi-Phek-Lanezho.
Authorities have urged travelers to adhere to the advisory for their safety and cooperate with ongoing infrastructure development efforts in the region.
