The Government of Telangana, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has initiated comprehensive arrangements to host the 72nd Miss World 2025 competitions in Hyderabad from May 10 to 31, positioning the event as a major opportunity to elevate Telangana’s global brand image.
With the theme “The World Looks at Telangana!”, the state is set to leverage this international platform to showcase its rich cultural heritage, historical legacy, spiritual landmarks, medical advancements, and its commitment to safe tourism. Contestants from approximately 120 countries are expected to arrive in Hyderabad between May 2 and 8.
A series of curated experiences have been planned to immerse contestants and global media in the essence of Telangana: On May 12, contestants will visit the Buddhavanam Project and Buddhist Theme Park at Nagarjuna Sagar, followed by a Heritage Walk through Charminar and Laad Bazaar. On May 13, they will visit the iconic Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad and enjoy a live music concert.
On May 14, Group 1 will visit the Thousand Pillar Temple and Warangal Fort, while Group 2 will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Ramappa Temple and watch a Perini dance performance.
On May 15, Group 1 will visit the Yadagirigutta Temple, while Group 2 will explore handloom weaving and demonstrations in Pochampally.
On May 16, a Medical Tourism Showcase will be held at AIG Hospital, highlighting Telangana’s global healthcare capabilities. Meanwhile, Group 2 will visit the ancient Pillalamarri tree in Mahbubnagar and the Experium Eco Park, a major city attraction in Hyderabad.
On May 17, the sports finals will be held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, followed by a visit to Ramoji Film City. On May 18, contestants will visit the Telangana Police Integrated Command & Control Center and attend the Sunday-Funday Carnival at Tank Bund.
On May 20–21, Continental Finales and fast-track regional selections will take place. Group 1 will attend an IPL match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal, while Group 2 will participate in a workshop led by Telangana artisans at Shilparamam.
On May 22, contestants will compete in the Talent Finale event. On May 23, the Head-to-Head Challenge Finale will take place. On May 24, participants will showcase in the Top Model and Fashion Finale, as well as a Jewelry and Pearl Presentation.
On May 26, contestants will present their social impact projects during the Beauty With a Purpose event.The event will culminate on May 31 with the Grand Finale of Miss World 2025.
