Department of Power (DoP) has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 66kV Ganeshnagar transmission feeder to facilitate essential vegetation clearing and station maintenance activities.
In a press note, executive engineer (Dimapur trans. division) Er. S.I. Asangba Tikhir said that the shutdown will be carried out on May 7 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and May 8 from 6 a.m. to 12 noon.
The exercise will affect all consumers in Peren district and areas receiving supply from the Ganeshnagar Substation. The department while acknowledging the inconvenience sought the cooperation from all.
