Mother is called matarh in Sanskrit. Mother is the best creation of God through whom God communicates and expands his power through his parts. According to the Puranas, mother means Lakshmi. Just as Mother Lakshmi nurtures the creation, similarly a mother also nurtures a child. Thus, mother is considered to be the form of Lakshmi. One view is that this creation began with the union of a man and a woman named Manu and Shatarupa. Their child was called Manuj or Manav after the name of Manu. The one who gave birth to Manu’s child was called Maa. And thus the word Maa originated.
In the world, mother is compared to God. In India, the river Ganges is considered holy and is given the status of mother, which indicates that mother is a title in itself. The glory of a mother is described in many religious texts. Being a mother means being completely overwhelmed with responsibility and selflessness. Motherhood means losing sleep at night. Mother is the best creation of God. No one can sacrifice and love as much as she does. Mother is the mother of the world, without her the world cannot be imagined. Mother is our birth giver and she is our first teacher. That is why we call the earth as mother earth. Who takes the weight of all of us on herself.
International Motherhood Day is a day to honor mothers and motherhood. A mother can take the place of everyone. But no one can take her place. Mother protects and takes care of her children in every way. That is why mother is called the second form of God. Mother is the person who gives birth to her child by keeping it in her womb for nine months. After that she brings it up. Whatever happens, but a mother’s love for her children never decreases. She is more concerned about the comforts of her children than herself. Mother has the courage to face the biggest calamities to protect her children.

According to Indian culture and some texts, the word mother originated from cow lineage. When a cow’s calf is born, the first sound that it makes is the mother’s mooing. That means the calf calls its birth mother by the name of its mother. In this way, the one who gives birth came to be called mother. According to the scriptures, for the first time the calf mooed its mother cow and called her mother and this word originated from there.
Mother’s birthplace, heaven, poverty, poverty.
In this verse of Valmiki Ramayana, Acharya Valmiki says that the place of mother and motherland is higher than heaven and Vaikuntha Dham is at their feet.
Nasti matrisama chaya, nasti matrisama gatih.
Nasti Matrisama Traan, Nasti Matrisama Priya.
This verse tells the importance of mother in life. It is said in this verse that there is no shadow like mother nor is there any support like her. There is no protector like mother in the world and there is no thing as dear as her. During an incident in Mahabharata, when Yaksha Dharmaraj asks Yudhishthira that who is heavier than the earth, then Yudhishthira says that mother is much heavier than this earth. That is, mother’s place in the world is the most glorious.
The meaning of every word in the world can be understood and explained. But it is almost impossible to understand and explain the meaning of the word mother. It is impossible to explain the meaning of the word mother because the love of a mother and the sacrifice of a mother cannot be explained in words. It can only be experienced. The amount of love that a mother has in her heart for her children, even if all the children of a mother try, they cannot pay even a fraction of it.
There are many opinions about the origin and meaning of the word mother. Different styles have interpreted the word mother. This one-syllable address of mother is considered to be the most powerful word in the entire universe. Mother is not just a word but an emotion. It is impossible to describe it in words. Mother is the one who not only gives birth to us but also teaches us how to live. The word Maa means selfless love and sacrifice. Mother is the living form of God. Mother takes care of her children with an open heart. Mother is the one who herself sleeps hungry but does not let her children stay hungry. No matter how much pain she herself is in, she does not express it and even in such a situation, she only prays for the safety of her children. Mother’s love is deeper than the ocean.
